Included in the index are members of the core crew, persons working for the VOC settlements in Asia, military personnel, and other persons such as merchants, preachers, or surgeons. Details vary, but the following information may be available for each record.

  • departure place
  • arrival date
  • relative's name

Also included is the name of the archive where the original record can be found, as well as a link to the record on the source website.
