Board of Health minutes for the years 1822–1864 contain information about interments in local cemeteries, nuisances, resolutions, and various reports from the wards in Savannah, including lists of yellow fever victims from the 1854 outbreak. The lists of interments generally include the name of the deceased, age, cause of death, and place of birth.
Also included in the minutes are some Civil War-era records for Confederate soldiers, in which their military unit is typically listed.
