About Poland, Selected Records of Jews in the Radom District, 1939-1945 (USHMM)
This database includes information from records created during the German occupation of the Radom district in central Poland during World War II. The records pertain primarily to the local economy, including the consolidation of village lands, and to the district’s administration under Nazi occupation. Also included are names of Jews performing physical labor, prisoners, deported people, as well as primary school teachers and lawyers. The original records are held by the Polish State Archives in Radom.
Note: Some documents contain names of German Army officers and soldiers who deserted and were subject to punishment by Nazi authorities. These names may appear in the index. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and the World Memory Project do not necessarily recognize all of these individuals as victims of persecution.
